Fenix Group, a Virginia based systems integrator & product development firm, announced a partnership agreement today with KÄGWERKS, a Washington-based veteran-owned product development team focused on soldier-worn systems. The partnership pairs KÄGWERKS’ unique body-worn communications systems designed to integrate, simplify, and lighten the burden of the individual warfighter with Fenix Group’s focus on the Battlefield of Things sensor ecosystem. The two companies are joining forces in an effort to bring new capabilities to the American warfighter to decrease cost, risk, and burden while increasing operator efficiency and lethality.

At a recent demonstration event showcasing KÄGWERKS DOCK platform, Dave Peterson, Fenix Group’s CEO had this to say: “Partnering with KÄGWERKS was a no brainer. Their senior leadership & engineering staff understand what is important to the individual warfighter, and the KÄGWERKS platform is a huge leap over what the military is fielding today. We expect the DOCK platform to become the premier soldier-worn situational awareness tool over the next decade. Integrating their products into our battlefield of things sensor ecosystem allows for the entire PACE plan to be on the soldier’s chest. It’s a unique capability that adds tremendous value over legacy systems.”

Garett Schwindel, President of KÄGWERKS added: ”We are here to serve the end user. Period. This collaborative effort is the next chapter of warfighting and we are honored to be a part of this great leap forward with Fenix Group. Fenix innovates, moves fast, and puts the warfighter first. We couldn’t envision a better partner.”

Fenix Group & KÄGWERKS plan to begin marketing their combined solution to US military partners in Q1, 2020.
